Robert L. Wyman Jr.

BRIDGTON – Robert L. Wyman Jr., 66, of Oxford, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the Woodlands memory care center in Bridgton. He was born in Beaufort, SC, on Sept. 18, 1959, the son of Robert and Anne Wyman.

He graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1978. He started his working career at local business including Andrews Nursing Home, A.C. Lawrence Leather and Burlington Homes. He then decided that truck driving was his passion. He started his trucking career driving cross country before deciding to stay closer to home. He spent the remainder of his career driving truck for companies including C.N Brown Co., Poland Spring and Ed Thayer Inc.

Robby enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it be for a holiday, birthday or just a Saturday night for cards or a Sunday dinner. Falls were enjoyed deer hunting and making memories with his dad. Summers were spent with family and friends at the race track or camping. He was a devoted sports fan that always loved watching sports, whether it be his nephews playing football during their school years or any of his favorite Boston teams on Television.

Robby leaves behind his two sisters, Kathy and Jay Goforth of Oxford and Terry and Ken Hoyt of Oxford; his nieces and nephews Tanya and Matt Ludden of Mason TWP, Regina and Matt Wilson of Oxford, Derek Goforth of South Paris, Kenny Hoyt of Oxford; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Anne Wyman; his grandparents Harold and Gladys Wyman and Ressie and Lucille Watkins.

Robby put up a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s for the last 10 years. The family would like to thank all the staff at Woodlands Memory Care for the outstanding care provided to Robby in the last few years of his life. A special thank you to Kelly McDonald, who always put a smile on his face, and Ann from Andwell Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at Webber Brook Cemetery, Allen Hill Rd., Oxford on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 1 p.m.
