Why does Sen. Susan Collins support the SAVE America Act when Maine voters overwhelmingly defeated the much less restrictive Question 1 only five months ago?
By an almost 2-1 majority last November, Mainers voted against voter ID requirements at the polls and increased limits on absentee voting. Maine does not need the SAVE Act; indeed, it will do great harm here.
Collins is failing to represent the views of her constituents. She does not deserve reelection.
