Jeannette Marie St. Amand

SABATTUS – Jeannette Marie St. Amand, 87, of Sabattus, Maine, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 23, 1938, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Fortunat Bourgoin and Clarisse Hébert.

She is survived by nine children, Janice (Jim) Wright, Gail Bauer, Donna (Kevin) Woodbury, Jim (Mary) St. Amand, Tina Grant, Sally (Dave) Masselli, Lisa (Gary) St. Pierre, Brenda St. Amand, and Tammy (Adam) Thatcher; 30 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Marie Lebrun of Lewiston and Sylvia Tancrel of New Hampshire, and her brother Roger Bourgoin.

She was predeceased by Roland St. Amand Sr.; her son, Roland St. Amand Jr., her daughter, Janet Wheeler, sons-in-law Lyle Wheeler and Denzel Grant; grandson, Brian Woodbury; her brother Dan Bourgoin, and her sisters Anita Libby, Diane Bean, and Linda Bourgoin.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., immediately followed by a Celebration of Life and reception at The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Turner Street, Auburn, Maine.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
