We had numerous wild guesses and a handful of correct ones for last week’s Mystery Photo of the wheel well for the landing gear of the LTV A-7D Corsair II fighter jet that was installed at Veterans Memorial Park on Main Street in Lewiston in 2020. In a random drawing from all the correct entries, Sandra Owen of Lewiston was picked as the winner of a $25 Hannaford Supermarket gift card. She said she figured it was the inside of a jet, and the only one in the area was at Veterans Memorial Park, so she took a chance and sent in her answer.
