County government gives us a direct view of what happens when state decisions miss the mark. We see the pressure placed on taxpayers, the strain on public services, and the frustration of people who feel government has stopped listening. That is why I am supporting Garrett Mason for governor.

As an Androscoggin County commissioner, I believe Maine needs leadership that understands both conservative principles and the practical realities local communities face every day. Mason knows that government must live within its means, respect taxpayers, support public safety and return accountability to the people.

He also brings something too often missing in politics today: readiness. Mason understands how Augusta operates, where waste and inefficiency hide and how to turn ideas into action. Maine cannot afford more years of delay, excuses and policies disconnected from everyday life.

What has always stood out to me is that Mason approaches public service seriously. He is thoughtful, disciplined and committed to doing the work—not just talking about it.

Families across our state are dealing with higher costs, uncertainty and a growing sense that government is out of touch. This election should be about restoring trust and choosing someone prepared to lead immediately.

I believe Garrett Mason has the experience, character and judgment to do exactly that.
