Susan Collins’ performance in the Senate never impressed me. She promised only two terms and is campaigning for her sixth. Collins has proven her ability to swim with the sharks and willingly taken “dark money” from the likes of Leonard Leo of the Federalist Society.
Collins failed the people of Maine and the country when she was deceived by Brett Kavanaugh.
President Trump is spending wildly (ballroom, arch, golfing weekends at Mar-a-Lago, White House refurbishment, $1.5 trillion request for the “War” Department, etc.) and Collins isn’t objecting.
Collins must call for an end to the Iran conflict under the War Powers Act. Instead, she concedes to Trump’s will over congressional authority. Is she following his autocratic desires?
Upon learning about the despicable abuse of young females by Jeffrey Epstein, she didn’t stand up and shout. Her silence is deafening.
Collins joined the bogus “Save America” campaign, Trump’s effort to rig the elections and avoid defeat. Could it be that some “illegals” voted her into her previous five terms? Should we be questioning her previous victories and asking for a “re-vote” on those victories now?
