HUDSON, Fla. — Lilliette Lucille “Betty” Foster, 81, died Nov. 25, at Bayonet Point Heart Institute.

She was born in Lewiston, March 26, 1930, the daughter of Napoleon and Blanche Annette Carrier (both deceased). She received and completed her education through the Lewiston, Maine School System.

On Nov. 8, 1947, she married Robert Eugene Foster Sr. and lived in Sabattus. She worked at Raytheon, RCA, and Maine Electronics. After retirement, she traveled the country with her loving husband driving to Alaska and ended up as snowbirds in Port Richey, Fla.

She belonged to Our Lady of the Rosary Church and the Kennebec Valley Beagle Club. She enjoyed painting, fly fishing, camping, hunting, four-wheeling in the woods of Northern Maine, shuttle-board, and spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed by her children, two daughters, Diana Wright and Barbara Cyr, both of Hudson, Fla.; three sons, Michael Foster, wife, Linda Foster and Robert Foster Jr., wife, Tina Foster, of Sabattus, and Burton Foster of Epping, N.H; three granddaughters, Arrica Wright-Cooper, husband Robert Cooper, and Natasha Wright, both of Florida, and Sheena Foster of Sabattus; two grandsons, Jason Aldridge and Walter Foster Cyr I; and four great-grandchildren, Danny Tucker, Justin Aldridge and Dakota Aldridge of Sabattus and Sydney Wright Cooper of Florida; one brother, Larry Carrier of Sabattus; and godchild, Rolande LaPointe of Lewiston.

The “love of her life” and husband of 63 years, Robert “Bob,” predeceased her on April 29, 2010.

Betty’s quick wit and sense of humor will be forever missed by all who knew her!
