SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. — Norman Virgile Houle, 89, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away in Sun City Center on Monday, Nov. 28.

He was born in Lewiston, July 18, 1922, to the late Virgile and Dorothee (Normand) Houle. Educated in local Lewiston schools, Norm attended Bates College and graduated from Bentley University after serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Prior to retirement, he was employed at Champoux-Bouvier Insurance. He had been a member of St. Peter’s and Ste Croix parishes and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lillian Provencher Houle, formerly of Lewiston; two daughters, Linda Quinn and her husband, John, of Lynnfield, Mass., and Jacqueline Stern of West Chester, Pa.; two granddaughters, Carolyn Quinn Kilmer (Jason) and Kathleen Quinn Murphy (Jerome); four great-grandchildren, Kieran and Emerson Kilmer and Alannah and Logan Murphy; and his brother, Raymond Houle of Madison, Tenn., formerly of Lewiston.
