CLEARWATER, Fla. — Barbara Lee Malia, 64, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Auburn, died Jan. 13, at Morton Plant Hospital.
She was born in Waterville, Dec. 4, 1947, the daughter of Wilfred and Natalie Boulette. She loved shopping, reading, swimming, nickel bingo, going to the flea market and motorcycle rides with her husband, Tom and their friends. Most of all, she loved being a Nana to her grandchildren.
She had been employed at the Hathaway Shirt Factory in Waterville, in home child care and as a cook at Roy’s Allsteak Hamburgers in Auburn.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; her son, Shawn and his wife, Cyndy, of Lewiston; her daughter, Traci Caouette of Greene; son-in-law, Daniel Caouette of Waterville; three grandchildren, Spencer Roy, Colby Malia and Emma Caouette; her sister, Janet Babb and her husband, Conrad; and her sister, Mary Ellen Hurlbert.
She was predeceased by her father; mother; her brother, Richard; and several aunts and uncles.
