Guerette
RUMFORD — The wedding of Kayla Nicole Rancourt and Jason Joel Guerette was held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 1 at St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford. The Rev. Phil Tracy officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Guerette is the daughter of Therese Rancourt of Sabattus and the late Denis Rancourt. Mr. Guerette is the son of Joel and Linda Guerette of Wales.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Brian Rancourt, wore an ivory slim A-line gown with corset closure and beaded one shoulder strap. She carried a bouquet of white Gerber daisies and yellow roses and sunflowers. She wore her grandmother’s 1930s wedding band.
A childhood friend of the bride, Daniele Stout, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Nault, Madison Raymond, Renee Larochelle, Katelynn Emmons, Ashley Tanguay, Kathryn Aguilar and Melissa Griffin, soon to be sister-in-law. Flower girl was Alexia Chaloux, cousin of the bride.
Serving as best man for his brother was Ethan Guerette. Ushers were Patrick Duchette, Jeremy Foss, Kyle Harrington, Andrew Camardese, Anthony Poulin, Jacob Manner and Brian Rancourt, brother-in-law. Cameron Sirois, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Sunday River Grand Summit Hotel, after which the couple traveled to southern California. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of the University of New England with an associate degree in dental hygiene. She is a registered dental hygienist at Riverview Dental.
The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a civil engineer at TRC Engineering.
