BETHEL — Miranda Sage and Andrew Alan Ward were married July 2 at the Bethel Inn Resort. The ceremony took place on the beautiful golf course at the 18th hole at 4 p.m. The Rev. John Ellis, who also married the parents of the bridegroom 26 years earlier, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sherry Olmstead of Norway. The bridegroom is the son of Dan and Debbie Ward of West Paris.
The bride was attended by her childhood friend, Lindsey Perry of Bridgton, as maid of honor. Matron of honor was Kami Paine and her daughter, Kirrablle Paine of West Paris, served as the flower girl. The bride’s sister-in-law, Megan Ward, completed the bridal party and is a college student in North Carolina.
The honor of best man was shared by childhood friend, Chad Toothaker of South Paris, cousin, Josh Paine of West Paris and childhood friend, Russell Estes of Oxford.
A reception was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Bethel Inn Resort. Following the meal, a three-tiered wedding cake was served.
The bride is a graduate of Central Maine Community College with an associate degree in liberal studies, and a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where she received a bachelor’s degree with honors. She currently works for The Progress Center in Norway as a community case manager.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Central Maine Community College in Auburn with a degree in architectural and civil engineering. He works as foreman for Pratt and Sons of Minot.
After spending a honeymoon in Nassau in the Bahamas, the couple lives in Norway where they own a home and plan to raise a family.
