LISBON — A 23-year-old local woman complained of neck and facial pain after her car hit a utility pole near the Lisbon Community School on Thursday morning.
According to investigating officer Jeff Williams, Amy Small of 16 Upland Road had left the parking lot at the school and went off the right shoulderof the access road and hit the pole.
She was transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston where she was treated and released, Williams said.
Small was charged with imprudent speed and failure to provide proof of insurance. Her 1998 Saturn four-door, which had temporary plates, was demolished. The pole was not damaged.
