WEST PARIS — Pearley A. Duguay, 79, of Swett Avenue in Mexico, died Tuesday, March 13, at Ledgeview Living Center following a brief illness.

He was born in Mexico, June 4, 1932, a son of Desire and Evelyn (Strout) Duguay. Pearley was educated in Mexico schools. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954.

Pearley was employed as a machinist with Boise Cascade for many years. He was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior. Pearley was a member of the American Legion. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and four wheeling.

Surviving are his son, Wayne A. Duguay and wife, Nancy, of Spruce Head; a daughter, Jodie L. Grant and husband, John, of Mexico; a sister, Hilda Rouleau of Rumford; five brothers, Lewis Duguay and wife, Ann, of Mexico, Kenneth Duguay and companion, Andrea, of Rumford, Raymond Duguay and wife, Jackie, of Mexico, Thurl Duguay and wife, Joan, of Rumford and Robert Duguay and wife, Gertrude, of Carthage, N.C.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Duguay, Kurt Duguay and Kenneth Grant; and a brother-in-law, Maurice Allen and wife, Clara, of Mexico.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Arlene; a sister, Theresa; and a brother, Desire Duguay Jr.
