RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Belanger Burns of Rumford was celebrated Wednesday at the Parish of The Holy Savior St. Athanasius–St. John Church in Rumford with Fr. Phil Tracy as the celebrant. Nick Puiia III was the altar assistant and Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical selections were “Simple Gifts,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” Readings were given by Sally Burns Mottalini and John Mottalini. Words of remembrance were shared by Susan Burns Podzamsky. Gift bearers were Theresa’s, grandchildren, Sarah Mottalini, Christopher Mottalini, Alyssa Burns, Dana Burns and Susanne Podsamsky.
