Church concert
AUBURN — A Generation Christ Benefit Concert will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Christ Temple Church of God in Christ, 2488 Turner Road.
Parishioners will sing, dance and offer praise in the name of the Lord. Admission is free. The pastor is Elder Albert R. Jackson Sr.
A freewill offering will be taken and dinners will be sold after the service. All donations will benefit Generation Christ Youth Ministry. The public is invited.
WLU speaker
AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St.
The program will feature yoga instructor Josie Dupuis, Dupuis Wellness Center, who will talk on how the center brings about “hope, rejuvenation, healing.”
Theresa Bellmore and Jeanne Pacheco are in charge of hospitality. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome.
Saturday classes
TURNER — SAD 52 will offer four Saturday classes on April 7:
Cake Decorating: Bring an undecorated cake and at least one can of white frosting and learn the basics of cake decorating. Make flowers, leaves and other designs.
Identity Theft Toolkit: Learn how today’s thieves steal an identity and how to prevent it from happening.
Kids Crafts: Youngsters will welcome spring with a family of bunnies and butterflies. Make all sizes and colors.
ATV Safety: Earn a certificate in ATV safety with the state-approved course. Participants must be at least age 10. Land use regulations and Maine laws pertaining to ATV uses will be featured.
