The Lewiston Regional Technical Center recently held a community service fundraiser for youth experiencing homelessness. Students and staff contributed to the fund, raising $685, which was donated to the Lewiston High School STEP program. Dollie Simmons, Exploring Healthcare Professions Instructor, organized the event. The check was presented to Jamie Caouette, who said the funds would help homeless students in the Lewiston School District. For more information on the STEP program, call Jamie at LHS, 795-4190, ext. 2215.
