LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank recently announced that Museum L-A was one of three grant recipients from its ABCommunity grant program.

Museum L-A received a $5,000 grant for its Power of Music exhibit.

In all, $8,500 in grants was awarded to nonprofit organizations in Maine. ABCommunity grants are provided to organizations supporting community development and activities that benefit arts and culture, the environment, community health, strong neighborhoods and more.

The next grant applications will be reviewed in July. Applications will be accepted throughout the year, with the deadline for submission July 2. For more information go to http://www.bankoncommunity.org.
