Ice-out drawing
BRIDGTON — IC, Bridgton Community Center’s Ice Out mascot, said ice was out on Moose Pond on March 23. There are 11 tickets for that date. The winning ticket will be drawn at noon Monday, April 2, at the Bridgton Community Center.
World’s Fair
WATERFORD — The Waterford World’s Fair Association will meet on Sunday, April 1, one week earlier than usual because of Easter. The 2 p.m. meeting will be held at the Waterford Town Office, Valley Road. All members and anyone interested in the fair are welcome.
The May meeting will also be one week earlier because of Mother’s Day.
That meeting will be held at the fairgrounds and will be a clean-up day, which will start at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m.
Palm Sunday service
PARIS — The Palm Sunday service at the First Universalist Church, Pine Street, will be led by Anita White. “Two Donkeys and a Bucket” is the 10 a.m. sermon title.
Music is under the direction of Joyce Franklin and Sunday school is under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service and all are welcome. Childcare is available.
Knitting guild
SUMNER — The Western Maine Knitting Guild will meet on Tuesday, April 3. The session will consist of a tour and lunch at A Wrinkle in Thyme Farm, Sumner.

Pantry is open
OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 3, at Spurrs Corner Church, Route 121. The pantry is open the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 583-4780 or 627-4329.
