AUBURN — Central Maine Community College will host its annual spring open house for interested students and their families from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at its lakeside campus at 1250 Turner St. Faculty members and student services staff will be on hand to provide information on programs of study, financial aid, the admissions process and options for transferring to four-year colleges.

“We are really looking forward to our spring open house this year,” said Director of Admissions Marc Gosselin. “We have made changes in the format that provide better opportunities for students to learn more about programs and services they are most interested in. Our new state-of-the-art Criminal Justice/CSI lab will be open, and students who complete an admissions application at the open house will have the application fee waived.”

CMCC offers career and technical programs that prepare graduates for immediate employment. In addition, the college offers transfer programs that enable graduates to continue their education at a four-year institution. CMCC offers on-campus housing and a number of campus organizations and activities. The Athletic Department offers baseball, softball, men’s and women’s basketball and soccer, men’s lacrosse and coed golf. Starting next year, the college will begin offering men’s lacrosse.
