AUBURN — Dr. Delma O. Lowery of Newton, Ill., will conduct a six-day Bible conference on prophecy to be held April 22-27 at Marston’s Corner Baptist Church, 752 Beech Hill Road.

The conference begins at 11 a.m. Sunday and will continue nightly through Friday. Sunday night’s session will be at 6 p.m. All other sessions will be at 6:30 p.m. Each session will last about one and a half hours.

Lowery, who has been in the ministry since 1957, taught Bible and psychology at Memphis Baptist College, served as dean of men and Bible instructor at Trinity College in Dunedin, Fla., was listed in Who’s Who in the World of Religion in 1985, taught Bible exposition and theology for eight years as a guest instructor in the summer graduate program at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla., taught as a guest instructor at the Southland Bible Institute in Ashland, Ky., and conducted seminars on Bible exposition at the Expositor’s Bible Center in Newton, Ill., for 15 years.

Lowery is the author of articles for newspapers and Christian periodicals in addition to his book, “Building Steadfast Christians,” which is now in its third printing, and has written a booklet on “How I Defeated Prostate Cancer,” which was done with natural means. He has produced DVDs on which he expounds various books of the Bible.

Lowery has traveled in 48 states, nine provinces of Canada, Jamaica and Mexico, teaching various books of the Bible and related subjects.
