AUGUSTA — Andre B. Michaud, 73, longtime resident of Lewiston and formerly of Florida, died on April 10, at MaineGeneral Hospital.

He was born March 11, 1939, in Lewiston, the son of Oscar and Jeannette (Dozois) Michaud.

Andre attended schools locally at St. Dominic’s. He then went on to serve his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He married Florence L. Strout on Feb. 20, 1976.

He was a longtime handyman/jack-of-all-trades.

Andre is survived by his beloved wife, Florence; sons, Shawn Michaud and wife, Jennifer and Ron St. Pierre and wife, Beth; sister, Lilliette Poulin; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Candi J. Michaud.
