PARIS — Selectmen will consider whether to pursue Gov. Paul LePage’s Certified Business Friendly Community program.
The Department of Economic and Community Development “certifies” Maine communities as business friendly, earning them an “open for business” sign from the state and recognition by LePage.
Board members also will consider setting a workshop to discuss a fireworks ordinance to regulate the sale and use of fireworks in Paris.
At the end of the meeting, the board is set to enter executive session to complete the evaluation of Town Manager Phil Tarr.
The board will also discuss the Fiscal Year 2012-13 budget Monday after meeting with the budget committee last week. The Paris Board of Selectmen meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the Town Office.
