AUBURN — Constance G. Pleau, 88, a resident of Auburn, died early Tuesday, April 24, at the Hospice House, with her family by her side, following a brief illness.
She was born in Lewiston, June 4, 1923, the daughter of George and Irma (D’estemauville) Michaud. Connie was a longtime member of the South Lewiston Baptist Church and was also a hospital volunteer at both Central Maine Medical Center and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Paul Shaw of Upper Black Eddy, Pa.; her daughter, Stephanie Shaw of Salem, Mass.; her sister, Jacqueline Blanchard of Naples and Florida; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Pleau in 2006.
