LEWISTON — A special service commemorating the end of the Vietnam War will be held at noon Monday, April 30, at the Vietnam War marker on the Lewiston side of the Vietnam Bridge.

The Vietnam War officially ended April 30, 1975. United States involvement ended in August 1973.

It would be appreciated if those attending could bring a small U.S. flag to replace those that are worn in front of the marker. A commemoration flower will be planted.
