Red Hatters will converge at the Holiday Inn by the Sea in Portland for a weekend of friendship and frivolity Aug. 24 to 26. Calling it a “Hoot” instead of a convention, it is the largest Red Hat event in Maine, drawing Red Hatters from throughout the state, New England, and as far away as Canada, Florida and Kansas.
