LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine will be offering two sessions of American Red Cross CPR/AED for professional rescuers and healthcare providers. The first session will take place from 12:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12; the second session will take place from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 8.

The training meets the requirement for lifeguards, EMTs, nursing students, ski patrollers and others with a duty to respond. Members of the YWCA pay $92 and nonmembers pay $102.

American Red Cross CPR/AED recertification classes for professional rescuers and healthcare providers will be offered from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9. The program is for current (non-expired) ARC of AHA certification holders. New text and pocket mask will be issued.

Members of the YWCA pay $54 and nonmembers pay $64.
