LEWISTON — Donna Delano, 64, of Lewiston died Saturday, May 5, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer with her loving sister and family at her side.
She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 23, 1947, a daughter of the late William and Minnie Greaton. She worked for several years in the shoe industry. Later in life, she spent many years working at MBHA as a mental health team leader.
She was very dedicated to her work and had a great love of family. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor, her very unique laughter and her love of good cup of coffee and a cigarette.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Tawny Delano; her granddaughter, Courtney Keach; her sister, Cheryl Rancourt; her brother, David Greaton and his wife, Sue; her nephews, Ronald Devlin and Adam Rivard; her nieces, Megan and Veronica Irish; three grandnieces; and two grandnephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Delano; her nephew, Richard Devlin; and two brothers, William and Dwight Greaton.
