ORLANDO, Fla. — The wedding of Darcie Ann Lapointe and Justin Robert Toops was held at 10 a.m. on March 4 at the Boardwalk Hotel at Walt Disney World in Florida. Robert Marquis, a good family friend of the bride and notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Toops is the daughter of Tammy Klemanski and Robert Lapointe of Lewiston. Mr. Toops is the son of Howard and Patricia Toops of Burlington, Iowa.

The bride wore a modern princess gown with the special touch of a brooch bouquet made by her mother, filled with brooches from family and friends.

Desirae Beaule, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Melissa Wing, sister, Bonnie Jones, Brittany Jeter and Andrea Moriarty, friends. Morgan Wing and Chloe Coombs, niece of the bride and good friend, were flower girls.

Jon Kerr served as best man for his best friend. Ushers were Nathan Toops, brother, Nate Vavroch, Curtis Clark and Adam Kroll, friends. William and Evan Hoapili, nephews of the bridegroom, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Boardwalk Hotel Convention Center, after which the couple traveled to the Bahamas. They are residing in Shawnee, Kansas.

The bride is a graduate of Husson College with a degree in elementary education. She is employed at Holy Trinity as a pre-school teacher.

The bridegroom served in the U.S. Navy for five years, stationed in Brunswick. He graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a master’s degree in global business. He currently works for Interconnective Devices as a fields application engineer.
