LEWISTON — Troy Haefele led a group of nine players to register goals as St. Dom’s capped an undefeated regular season with a 17-2 rout over Lincoln Academy in KVAC boy’s lacrosse action Tuesday.
Haefele led the powerhouse Saints (12-0) with five goals and four assists. Anthony Fagone chipped in with four goals and three assists, while Spencer Martin aded two goals. Cody Rodrigue (three saves) and Ben Sawyer (two) split time in the cage for St. Dom’s.

RANGELEY — Chantal Carrier scattered three hits as Rangeley overpowered Buckfield 6-2 in an EWC softball matchup Tuesday.
Ellie Brooks led the Lakers (9-2) with five RBIs, while Tori Letarte belted a pair of hits. Jenny Abbott also contributed with a solo home run in the fifth inning. Abby Bragg paced the Bucks (5-5) with an RBI double.

Wiscasset 10
AUBURN — Mary Caron smashed two home runs in consecutive innings to propel St. Dom’s to a 22-10 romp over Wiscasset in KVAC softball action Tuesday.
Caron’s homers came in the fourth and fifth frames as the Saints’ (5-9) offense hit high gear. Becky Trytek joined Caron with three hits, while Dayle Jordan, Lexi Kasey, Bethany Fox, Sara Trott and Sam Ladd all pounded out two hits apiece for the Saints.

Buckfield 17, Rangeley 0
RANGELEY — Winning pitcher Alan Lebel struck out nine batters in a two-hitter and also put on a one-man show at the plate.
Lebel smacked a three-run homer and drove in five runs with the help of a two-run single as Buckfield walked all over Rangeley in a 17-0 victory Tuesday.
The Bucks (12-0) made quick work of the struggling Lakers (2-11), scoring 10 runs in the first inning. Buckfield’s Trevor Averill doubled and drove in three runs and Cody White had three hits.
