HEBRON — Lolalee & The Country Bandits will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, at the Hebron Pines Campground & Maine Country Music Association annual jamboree.
The group, which has been together six years, plays traditional country, songs from the big band era and oldies. The band has played at the Auburn Mall; Oxford County Fair; summer concerts in South Paris, Bethel, Oxford and North Turner; and Country Fest weekend in Litchfield.
The Bandits also play several days a week for nursing homes and rehab centers in Oxford, Androscoggin, Cumberland and Franklin counties; and monthly at the veterans home in South Paris.
Making up the band are Benny Benedetto of Jay on bass; George DeWitt of Auburn on rhythm; Joey Poulin of Poland on drums; Lolalee Dillingham of Woodstock, lead vocalist; and Richard Moreau of Jay, lead player. Multi-instrumentalist Dell Parker of Andover has been filling in for DeWitt, due to illness.
Dillingham and Parker have won many awards from the Down East Country Music Association, and both are Pioneers.
