AUBURN — The Sleepy Time Motel announces that it has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award, which honors hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on Trip Advisor, the world’s largest travel site.

To qualify, businesses must maintain an average rating of four or higher out of a possible five as reviewed by travelers.

Sleepy Time Motel, owned by Lynn and Mark Klinger, originally was opened in 1961 on Danville Corner Road near the Turnpike. They took over in 2001, when they had the honor of being the 1,000th member of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce.
