Runners from the Auburn Police Department make their way onto Longley Bridge to pass the Special Olympics Maine Flame of Hope torch to their Lewiston counterparts Wednesday. Members of the Maine law enforcement began the run Tuesday and will finish it Friday at the University of Maine in Orono, where the summer games will be held.
