KENNEBUNK — The wedding of Danielle A. Tardif and Chad T. Yake was held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 20 at Searoad Church in Kennebunk. Pastor Jarred Cowgur, good friend, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Yake is the daughter of Keith and Darlene Tardif of Lewiston. Mr. Yake is the son of Thomas and Jullaine Yake of Kennebunk.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless chiffon gown and carried a bouquet of Gerber daisies, her favorite flowers.
The sister of the bride, Kayla Tardif, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim MacLeod and Elise Flathers, friends. Bailey Tardif-Mockler, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Serving as best man for his brother was Ryan Yake. Ushers were Kyle Smith and Mike Wynot, friends. Zachary Yake, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A special reading was done by sister and brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Marlon and Kristin Reyes-Granados.
A reception followed at the Searoad Church in Kennebunk, after which the couple traveled to Acadia National Park. They are residing in Yarmouth.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of the University of New England and a 2012 graduate of Central Maine Community College School of Nursing. She is employed at Ascend Specialty Pharmacy in Portland.
The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is also employed at Ascent Specialty Pharmacy in Portland.
