LEWISTON — Maine video artists will show their work at Movie Night At Guthries on Thursday, June 28.

Craig Saddlemire of Round Point Movies and Colin Kelley, editor of “Les Soeurs Grise,” will host a series of short movies recently produced by directors in the Lewiston-Auburn area.

A question-and-answer session with the directors will follow the 8 p.m. screenings at the restaurant at 115 Middle St.

Featured titles include the following:

“Ragged Isle,” by Greg Tulonen and Barry Dodd. This  is a mystery-suspense web series, produced and shot entirely in Maine, about a small lobstering community where residents are turning up drowned, their bodies nowhere near the water, their clothes completely dry.

“Ouija,” by Grace Powell. Upon receiving news that her husband is missing in action, a young woman presumes the worst and seeks the help of a Ouija board to contact him. This silent film was inspired by the movies of the 1920s.

“La Fille Sans Coeur,” by Rachel Powell. This is the story of a young woman who has no heart, and the lengths her courter will go to provide her with one.

“Passion for Work,” by Josh Ajamu. This documentary film is about eight aspiring filmmakers and their experiences working together in an intense production environment.

“Finding Common Ground in Conservation,” by Rob Little. This short documentary focuses on the conservation efforts of the Androscoggin Land Trust.

“Colony Collapse,” by Craig Saddlemire. This work is described as “a hauntingly peaceful vision of our city as it becomes buried in human artifice, snow and time.”

“Elkhead” and “Wilderness,” by Joanna Wilbur. This experimental animation explores our relationship with nature and wilderness.
