LEWISTON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Christine Nichols and Jeffrey Fournier, both of Lewiston.

The future bride is employed as a hairdresser and the future bridegroom is employed in salvage and flooring on the side.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the Bates College Chapel.
