To my many Christian friends, we are told to give unto Caesar (our government) that which belongs to Caesar, and to give unto God that which belongs to God: I will give unto God my spiritual life and my love for him.

I will give unto Caesar (our government) my taxes so that I will receive health insurance and competent medical care, among many other services and benefits.

Let us not become too negative or impatient, but, rather, have faith that the deliberations between the Catholic bishops and the government will have positive results.
