RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Frances Ruth Kersey was celebrated Saturday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church with the Rev. Phil Tracy as celebrant and the Rev. Raymond Carignan as con-celebrant. Organist was Mark Belanger and altar assistant was Bernard Poirier. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In The Garden.” Readings were given by granddaughters, Brooke Kersey and Kelly Sastamoine. The eulogy was given by goddaughter, Linda Jo Ferris and granddaughter, Lori Fakler. Gift presenters were her sons, Pat, Michael and Leo Kersey, III. An honorary delegation present was from St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Tracy at St. John Cemetery. A reception followed the services at 49 Franklin St. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
