TURNER — Josh Bunker allowed only four hits in a complete-game pitching effort and belted two doubles at the plate Monday, boosting Andy Valley to its second Zone 3 American Legion baseball victory of the season, 11-1, over Mechanic Falls.

Sam Godfrey’s single and a Brandon McDonald double keyed a four-run third inning, staking Bunker to a 5-1 lead. Andy Valley (2-10) scored four more runs in the sixth inning to end the game by virtue of the 10-run rule.

Godfrey and Drew Gosselin each had two hits for Andy Valley, including a double by Gosselin. Brandon Hodges also belted a two-bagger.

Zak Johnson doubled twioce for Mechanic Falls (4-9).
