FARMINGTON — Police are investigating a burglary on High Street where electronics and a purse and contents were reported stolen Friday.

Sgt. Edward Hastings IV spoke to two people at the residence Friday evening, and they reported that a laptop, iPod, iPad and a purse were stolen from the residence, Farmington police secretary Rachel Heseltine said Monday.

The door to the apartment was not locked, but one of two bedrooms had a padlock on it, she said.

The padlock was broken off and both bedrooms were entered, she said.
