FREEPORT — Charles A. Jordan Sr., 74, achieved eternal peace on Saturday July 14, after battling a long arduous illness.

He was born Feb. 18, 1938, a son of Carroll and Christine (Stevens) Jordan. He was married to Charlotte M. Krause, Feb. 8, 1958, and together raised four children. He enjoyed laughing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of 54 years; a daughter, Kathy Jordan of Lisbon Falls; a son, Charles Jordan Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Sabattus; a son, William Jordan and his wife, Jennifer, of Lisbon Falls; a daughter, Karen Pelletier and her husband, Jonathan, of Lisbon Falls; eight grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Nathan, Kristina, Angela, William, Kayla and Maeghan; and seven great-grandchildren, Cameron, Kayleb, Dylan, Cooper, Madison, Logan and Mason; two brothers; and three sisters.

Charles was predeceased by his parents; and one brother.
