LEWISTON — FLY Football is having the final round of signups for another year of youth football and cheering in Lewiston.

Sign ups will be Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20 at the Lewiston Mall from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tackle football is for grades 1-6 and flag football is Kindergarten & Pre-K. The cost this year is $80 to play tackle, $40 for flag. We will have both an in house league and Travel team for grades 3-4 & 5-6.

Softball benefit

AUBURN —  There will be an upcoming benefit co-ed softball tournament to fight childhood hunger at a local school in Auburn.

All proceeds will go directly to the Park Avenue School BackPack Program. It helps provide students at Park Avenue School in Auburn who are suffering the effects of chronic hunger with nutritious, easy-to-prepare food to eat during weekends and during school vacations when those crucial school meals are unavailable.

Teams will consist of seven males and three females. Cost is $30 Per person. Prizes go to the top three  individuals who raise the most money, and t-shirts will be given to the winning team!
