LEWISTON — Learn that mistakes should be made in your life from creativity expert Eileen Doyle, the keynote speaker at the American Creativity Association Conference at the University of Southern Maine, Lewiston-Auburn Campus taking place Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28. Doyle applies techniques that access right brain and left brain, allowing those who attend her lecture to use diverse learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic.

The conference offers two days of presentations by creativity experts for participants whose lives and work require creative problem solving, leadership and thinking. Participants seeking to be more creative in their lives will learn the skills, tools and techniques to innovate and problem-solve quicker and more effectively from these speakers who are on the cutting-edge of creative thinking in business, industry, science, technology, education and the arts.

Other presenters include Fritz Grobe and Stephen Voltz, co-founders of EepyBird. Best known as the Coke and Mentos guys, their viral campaigns for OfficeMax, ABC Family and others have been seen 150 million times.

Other presenters who will give their take on creative thought and problem solving include artist/sculptor Jacques Vesery; actor and team creativity expert Kandarp Mehta; writer and entrepreneur David Lyman; artist Fred Mandell; interpersonal relationship expert Jill Morris; author Bruce Baum and FedEx Global Citizenship Program adviser Shane O’Connor.

The conference is open to the public. Fee is $150 for both days and $75 for one day.
