PORTLAND — Singer-songwriter Ben Taylor, son of James Taylor and Carly Simon, is scheduled to perform at Bull Moose on Saturday, Aug. 18.

The 3 p.m. performance at the store at 151 Middle St. is free.

The show is acoustic, featuring only Taylor and his guitar player. His new CD, “Listening,” comes out Aug. 14 and will be available. Details available at www.bullmoose.com.

“Listening” is Taylor’s first CD in four years since the release of his “The Legend of Kung Folk Part 1” album.
