DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am trying to find copies of old New England Patriots’ games. The ones I am having a really hard time finding are from 2002 — Week 2 at the Jets, Week 3 vs. the Chiefs, Week 8 vs. Broncos and Week 12 vs. Vikings.
I love the Patriots and have been collecting their old games. I have most of the seasons complete from 2000 onward with the exception of those listed and some preseason games throughout the years. I have looked all over the Internet with little success. If anyone has a copy or has an idea where to get one, please let me know.
Thanks for your help! — Christopher Ouellette, [email protected]
DEAR SUN SPOTS: Greetings and thanks for a constantly helpful column.
I never thought this would be hard to find — a paper punch that punches a hole in the shape of a triangle about ¾ inches in size.
You used to see them all over the place, but I can’t find one anywhere, not online or in any of the craft shops. I’m hoping someone has one he or she would be willing to sell. I am happy to pick it up. — Jim, [email protected], 946-7777.
DEAR SUN SPOTS: There is a sign at the former Chick-A-Dee restaurant in Turner that indicates it may be opening soon. Is this someone playing with the sign as a joke, or is this for real? — No Name via email
ANSWER: Sun Spots checked with her colleagues, who have heard the same rumor but have been unable to verify. Readers?
DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m disabled with a power chair. I can’t afford a lift carrier rack for back of car to transport it. Does anyone know of anyone and or businesses that donates or has reconditioned lift carriers or who may have answers for my need? Thank you for any help. — Sandy, [email protected]
