SARASOTA, Fla. — Florian J. Latulippe, 95, of 49 Strathmore Blvd., Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Lewiston, died Thursday, Aug. 9, with his son by his side.

He was born in Canada, Feb. 3, 1917, a son of Joseph and Celina Grenier Latulippe. He was educated in East Broughton, Quebec schools. After emigrating to Lewiston, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was married to the former Rita O. Ouellette, April 27, 1946. She died May 29, 2010. Mr. Latulippe was a former member of Holy Cross Parish and owned and operated his TV repair business in Lewiston with his wife for more than 35 years prior to his retirement.

Florian enjoyed traveling with his wife during much of his 30 years of retirement.

He will be remembered around Lewiston-Auburn for his TV and radio repair reputation during four decades ending in the early-1980s.

He is survived by his son, Roland J. LaTulip of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren, Annemarie and Stephen LaTulip, both of Massachusetts; and former daughter-in-law, Elaine LaTulip of Massachusetts.

He was predeceased by three sisters; and seven brothers.
