LEWISTON — The Lewiston City Democratic Committee invites Lewiston Democrats to attend the next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on Central Avenue.

Representatives from Maine Equal Justice Partners and Consumers for Affordable Health Care will speak about federal and state issues pertaining to the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid (MaineCare). Both are nonpartisan organizations and should not be seen as an endorsement of any political candidate.

Use the doors facing the ball field marked “AA” at the back of the building. The drawing of the committee’s annual lobster raffle will take place at the end of the meeting.
