AUBURN — Rudolph F.J. Lebel, 79, a resident of 26 Bolster St., died peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Bolster Heights Nursing Home following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston, Jan. 17, 1933, the son of Alfred and Jane (Girouard) Lebel. Rudy was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving proudly as a medic.

He was a sports fan who enjoyed baseball and bowling. He was also a great dancer.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan Malo and husband, Tim, of Exeter; two brothers, Raymond Lebel and wife, Jacqueline, of Lewiston and Roger Lebel of Sabattus; one sister, Pauline Wilson of Corinna; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two sisters; and one brother.
