I have met some wonderful advocates for children and families during the many years I worked at Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care. Peggy Rotundo is clearly one of them.
Through the years, Head Start has had the opportunity to welcome Bates College students into its classrooms from the Service Learning Center that Rotundo created. Those students were interested in the field of early education and worked with the children and their families, bringing about many rewarding results
Throughout her career, Rotundo has championed the improvement of the quality of life for so many people. She has protected the safety net for the elderly, people with disabilities and veterans. As a result of her hard work and leadership, she brought increased money back to this community for property tax relief, health care and education.
I will be voting for Peggy Rotundo in her re-election to House District 74 in November.
