Outlook: Dirigo returns a talented junior class. The Cougars encounter the projected top three teams in the MVC in the opening week. They hope to use those games to build momentum for a playoff push later in the season. Dirigo has dedicated the season to Dani Ranger, a member of the Class of 2013 who died in an automobile accident only days after the conclusion of the 2011 campaign.
