Returning athletes: Boys: Senior — Sawyer Smith; Junior — Seth Tashney; Girls: Seniors — Natalie Bolduc, Silvia Ludic; Sophomores — Megan Bradbury, Jessica Conant.

Key losses: Amelia Tashney, Selena Sawtelle.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Senior — T. J. Frost; Sophomores — Anthony Todd, Vernin Farrar, Freshmen — Griffen Smith, Gus Brown, Gavin Arsenault; Girls: Senior — Cami Denny; Sophomore — Summer Kime; Freshmen — Sabrena Daoud, Hateya Levesque.

Outlook: The Cougars emerged as an MVC girls power and have virtually everyone back. Bolduc finished fifth at states, where Conant and Ludic also had top-40 times. A strong showing at regionals and states wouldn’t suprise anyone. A breakthrough season by Tashney and contributions from some of the newcomers could help the boys become a factor in the conference.
